Dr. Steven Bae (MD, FRCSC) is a comprehensive ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon practicing in Vancouver, BC.

Dr. Bae completed his medical degree at Queen’s University as one of ten students nationally in the inaugural Accelerated Route to Medical School program. He then completed his residency training in ophthalmology at the University of British Columbia, serving as co-chief resident.

Dr. Bae joined the exceptional team at Providence Health Care and holds active staff privileges at Mount Saint Joseph Hospital and St. Paul’s Hospital. He serves as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of British Columbia. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Dr. Bae has received awards from the Canadian Medical Hall of Fame, the Vancouver Physician Staff Association, and the Departments of Ophthalmology at Queen’s University and UBC for his dedication to patient care, achievement in ethics, and academic excellence.
